The AltUpdater Plugin installs like any other plugin. Upload through your "Add New" Plugins Page, and click "Activate". Enter your License Key from your "Members Dashboard" or your "Welcome" email and you are ready to go.
Once your License Key is Activated, you can install any of the Premium GPL Plugins available that you need or want from the AltUpdater Catalog from inside your Dashboard. The Catalog updates daily from our Update Server, so you always have access to our latest additions.
You can connect or disconnect individual plugins at the AltUpdater Settings page. A "Connected" message will show up under each connected plugin at the WP Plugins page.

Premium WP GPL Updates:
Connect and use AltUpdater for as many or few items as you wish, and run your site as normal. Ignore "License Notices" in almost all cases, and/or use one of the several "hide nags" plugins available.
The AltUpdater Plugin uses WP's built in hooks and filters to show you updates information for your connected plugins from our server instead of the vendor server. Select the plugins you wish to connect to our server at AltUpdater Settings, and run your site as usual.
Available updates show up as "Update Notifications" as normal. An "Updates by AltUpdater" logo lets you know where each of your updates is coming from. The regular supplier image shows up for "un-connected" plugins.
Updates on the "Plugins" page show up as they normally would, except that connected plugins have a green info bar below them, and show the "Updates By AltUpdater" logo when connected and the "view details" link is clicked.
